Failing HDD drive on a late 2014 Mac Mini with a fusion drive

Can I replace the HDD drive on a late 2014 Mac Mini with a fusion drive? My internal HDD part of the fusion drive is failing. I love this computer, everything else works fins, and I can't afford a new mac. What can I do?

Mac mini, OS X 10.11

Yes the HDD can be replaced with another HDD or even SSD.

I recommend going SSD because they run 6 or 7 times faster, plus they run cooler and quieter than an HDD.

We can not provide links to DIY Guides and Videos here in the communities because of the TOU, but if you do a little googling you will find some good Guides and Videos.

If you're not real handy inside of computers. Then I suggest contacting your Local Apple Authorized Service Provider and have them replace the HDD or do the upgrade for you. To find local AASP's , see > https://locate.apple.com
