numbers changes my formulas to titles of cells - way to prevent it?

Hi,

I am working across multiple sheets. From my overview sheet I want to import some number from several countries each on a different sheet and compare them.

When I select something like 'at-rns':$K$30 numbers automatically replaces it with the title of the field which is something like sumAT. I don't want this, I want to be able to copy the actual field reference in another field and just need to change the sheet-name.

Is there any way to prevent numbers from doing this?

Actually I would like to disable everything which was added after iWork 09, as the Numbers where meant for table calculation, but keeping cell references in the referencing cells untouched would help really a lot.

Thanks!
