Manually added workouts on Health app don't sync to Fitness app or Apple Watch

When I add workouts manually on the Health app, I can see the workout listed in the Fitness app, but the calories and other data aren't syncing. You can see in the screenshots where one is showing 531 cal and the other is 514. The same thing happens if I try to delete data from the health app, the deleted data still shows up in the fitness app even when I select "Delete workout and data". Both my watch and phone are on the latest OS (14.4 and 7.3.1). Since the last OS update the fitness app has been very buggy and it's getting quite frustrating. Is there any way to force sync the fitness app? Tried restarting both. Unpairing and repairing the watch worked when I was trying to delete incorrect data but it's not something I can do every day.

You also have to delete the workout from the fitness app as well as from the health app, that's why the data is still there.
