Manually lock Apple Watch without turning off wrist detection

Hello,

I’m a happy Apple Watch Series 4 user. Last year I became the father of a daughter (now 7 months old). While feeding her from the bottle she likes to fiddle around with my Apple Watch that’s on my wrist, causing random settings to be changed or random people to be contacted.

I’d like to easily lock the screen while feeding her. I read you can turn off wrist detection and then manually lock and unlock the Watch. Technically it seems possible to me to also allow manually locking the device with wrist detection on. Is there a way to do this, or is it really not possible?

Thanks!

Slide up on the watch face and turn on either water lock or theatre mode.
