I have used iOS for more than 12yrs, so why do I keep getting this message.

The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items.

These are in my documents?

I have used iOS for more than 12yrs,

What does that have to do with the question you posted here in the macOS Catalina community?

Where are your documents stored? In what folder? What are the permissions for that folder (use Get Info to see them).
