I can’t add a sixth person to my family share?

Once you go to Settings > [your Apple ID] > Family Sharing and see this prompt, please describe the exact steps you take, what you see, etc. And, of course, your wife does have her own, unique Apple ID, right?
I see the add family member, but when I push that area nothing happens?
As I said:
“Family Sharing supports up to six family members total.”
Are you attempting to add a seventh family member, including yourself?
I have me and my four kids. I am trying to add my wife. I am the organizer.
