notes password

i locked myself out of all my notes, i don’t know the password because i set it 4 years ago. I tried resetting the password, and it still doesn’t let me in.

Any tips???

Unfortunately the Notes that are protected with the OLD Password will only open with that old password. When you reset the password then the NEW Password will work on new notes created and protected with it.

You will get unlimited tries on the old notes so you can guess as many time as you can to open with the old password.

It is as close to a solution as you will find, once you set a Notes password there is no way to recover it if you forget it.

If you make enough attempts, it might show the password hint

i set a hint as 3 letters, it’s not much help there’s not a lot of possibilities with that combination
