Apple CarPlay not using cars built in microphone for phone calls

Try unpairing the phone. Then, pair it back. Perform this while in while in park.

I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work.

From what I have read over the last two months is there are a lot of vehicles that have the same problem and it looks like it’s an Apple setting and not a vehicle setting.

so I’m hopeful that Apple will help us out with this.

If this seems to be a bug, then report this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback Apple receives on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed.

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone -Apple
2. Select: "Performance" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: on when this began, and how you have troubleshot it thus far
4. Proceed from there as necessary.
