The subscriptions isn't on the iPhone, it is on your Apple ID which applies to any device signed in with that ID. So make sure you really want to cancel it now because this applies to your new phone too.

"Downgrade or cancel your iCloud storage plan" on an iOS device, a Mac, or a PC. --> https://support.apple.com/HT207594
