The Times newspaper subscription

I was having trouble with the Times app layout so I deleted the app and reloaded but now my iPad doesn’t seem to recognise I have a subscription through the App Store even though it shows in subscriptions. The old version said “classic” but the new download doesn’t. Any ideas on how to get it to recognise the subscription or do I need to cancel the subscription as well and start again?

Which iPadOS version are you currently running? Go to Settings > General > About for the version. If you restart the iPad, does the issue persist? Follow the steps in this link to restart: Restart your iPad


If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open -- Even though it opens, it’s not recognizing your subscription. Work through the steps in this article, including contacting the developer for help.
