That's sad to hear. You can use your Apple ID and Find My app or iCloud to locate the MacBook.

If you have an iPhone or iPad:

Open the Find My app and tap Devices.
Next, tap your MacBook's name, and you will see its live location. In case the MacBook is shut down or in sleep mode, you will see the last location. Also, make sure to see other options there.
