Delete Google Searches in Safari Search Bar
I would like to delete searches directly to google from the search bar history, is there a way to do this that does not require me to erase all history.

See if anything here helps.
Try double clicking the Home button or swipe up from the bottom of the screen and swipe Safari upwards. Go to Settings/Safari and clear History and Website Data. Open Safari and test.
Safari - Clear the history and cookies on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

If on an iPad, tap the open book at the top left. When the Sidebar opens, tap the 'clock' on the right. Select the Google search and slide it to the left. Tap Delete.
On a Mac Safari/History/Show All History, then control - click on the Google entry, and then select Delete.
This search any many others that are stuck are older than my history on the sidebar
