Battery Indicator Takes Up Full Screen

Does anyone know what this is or how to get rid of it? Attached picture shows a large battery indicator hovering over the home screen with no text. Showed up on my friends phone an hour ago, unprovoked. I told them to power cycle, haven't heard back yet. Never have seen this before.

Strange. Try a forced restart:

1. Press Quickly Volume Up

2. Press Quickly Volume Down

3. Press and hold the Power Button until the phone restarts

If that does not help, go to:

Settings -> Accessibility -> Screen & Text Size -> Larger Text.

If Larger Text Sizes is enabled, try disabling and reboot.

This is usually something you see if Larger Text is enabled. Then you can tap the icons to enlarge them.

I made a GIF that demonstrates it.
