HomePod Mini multiple failures

I can't make my HomePod Mini to work properly. It gets continuously auto-disconnected from the source it's playing (MacBook or iPhone), annoying delays between the order given (play/pause) and the continuity option never got to work with anything I play on my iPhone. I really tried everything: resetting, updating software, changing networks, everything. Any help? Thank you.
