Unsolicited Calendar invitations

I have all of a sudden been getting notification in my calendar with events labeled like virus and mal-network or something. The events say they are sent from Apple

You were offered events and notifications from some website, and accepted and subscribed to a spammer’s calendar. Delete it. Tap the Calendar button at the bottom of the iPhone Calendars app display, find the box of subscribed calendars in the list, find the subscribed calendar within that box that matches the color of the alerts, tap the information ℹ️ button to the right of that calendar, scroll down, and delete it.
