Airprint

Apple devices can’t locate HP Envy 5540 series printer. Both on same BT Wi-fi network

That said, see this support article:--> Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


If it isn't detected by your iOS/iPadOS devices, you have two things to try:

  • Turn off all your wifi devices.
  • Turn off your modem router for at least 1 minute, then turn it back on, waiting for its complete autoconfiguration.
  • Turn your printer back on
  • Turn all your devices back on, and test the printer.


If the issue still persists, I'd contact HP support team and ask them (checking also for firmware updates).
