My Mac won’t turn on

Ok, let's go over some things you can try:

1. If the display is black and nothing appears to be happening at all, check the power coming into the notebook. Try another wall outlet. Try another power adapter. Try resetting the notebook's SMC. If power is coming to the notebook, then the issue could be the Mac's logic board.
2. If the display appears black, but you notice edge lighting, check the display's brightness level.
3. If you see a flashing power LED or hear the notebook emit a series of beeps, there could be an issue with the notebook's RAM.

Pretty much any of the above would require a visit to the Genius Bar for resolution.
