I Mac running extremely slow.

My device had a problem and I had to install Os using a bootable use device, since that day system had been working extremely slow. running apps like photoshop / illustrator is a nightmare.

I have got a report from EtreCheck you can fine it here:

The reason your iMac is very slow is due to the 5400 rpm hard drive. Very slow. If you use an external SSD and run macOS from that, it will make your Mac 10 to 30 times faster for storage. For more info, instructions, and what external SSD to buy, please read: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-250003583. It appears a 500GB external SSD should be enough storage space for you.

Also, it is very important to back up your computer!

Cheers,

Jack
