How long does it take? That depends on how much information need to be transferred and whether you use iCloud for Messages or Photos or not. Your Wi-Fi Network speed is also a huge contributor to the time. There is no straight answer to your question. I recommend that putting aside 2 hours of your time to get the migration and any cloud data (including Apps) downloaded.
