I need to delete an app so that I can read about it however I inadvertently deleted the widget and cannot delete the app now. How do I fix this

FIRST, make sure you CAN delete apps: Go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions/iTunes & App Store Purchases - Change Deleting Apps to Allow. This setting defaults to “Don’t Allow"
You then have 2 options:
If you are deleting it to restore a “clean” copy restart your phone after deleting it and before adding it back. This prevents the reloaded app from reusing data from the deleted app.

The problem is I don’t have the icon for the app on my phone so I cannot delete the app. If I go out to the App Store and woke up the app only option I have is to open the app.
I may not be describing this well but the app cannot be deleted without the icon and I don’t have the icon. Thank you for your help
