I'm confused. Everything I read about the screen resolutions for my new iMac m1 says the screen can display 4480 x 2520 pixels, but the highest setting in system preferences is 2560 x 1440. Am I missing something? Thanks!
I don't have one of those, but normally, they have a setting "default" which would be the highest. You can then scale down. What does your pane display?
Thanks babowa. The default is 2240 x 1260, there is one setting higher which is 2560 x 1440, and three lower settings.
Well then, I don't have answer for you since I don't have one. But, if I did, I'd ask Apple about the different values - it may just be that they meant an external monitor, but it is misleading.
