Retrieving Accidentally Deleted iMessages from iCloud

Hello. I accidentally deleted an entire phone conversation while trying to delete a single message, which consequentially deleted it on my Mac. I tried retrieving it on my iPhone by going to AppleID > iCloud > Manage Storage > Messages > Top Conversations, but I don't see it there. I have Messages under the list "APPS USING ICLOUD" just in case this ever happened. Am I doing something wrong to retreieve my messages or is there no point in using iCloud for Messages other than syncing with my Mac.

iPhone SE, iOS 14
