The irregular rhythm notification feature on Apple Watch is not constantly looking for AFib. This means it cannot detect all instances of AFib, and people with AFib may not get a notification.
I am an AFib patient who currently have implanted monitor which battery is nearing to its expiration. In the long run I think with the ability of Apple Watch for Afib patients is cheaper than wearing the monitor that I have. I have this discussion with my cardiologist and he agrees, that Apple Watch might be the route that I should consider to take.
Therefore I am looking into what Apple Watch can do for my condition.
Any chance of an update for Apple Watch, that it will alert the user when he/she has AFib?
