My MacBook Air was stolen. What do I do? What can the thief retrieve from it?

First follow this If your Mac is lost or stolen - Apple Support


After that, if it was a 2018 and newer Air, it has a T2 chip, so it's pretty much paperweight without your Apple ID password.

If it was older then this and didn't have a Firmware password, with some skills it can be reused.
