iMac 24“ online order stuck on processing

Hello everyone,


I placed an order for a 8/8/16/512 silver iMac on 6th July with an initial delivery date between 2nd August and 9th August. A couple of days ago the delivery dates were pushed back a day to 3rd-10th. Two days ago my credit card got charged and I can no longer cancel the item… so far so good.


However, I am wondering that the order is still stuck in „processing“; is that normal at this stage, especially when the CC got charged already?


I am not experienced with Apple Online Store orders so any experience or feedback is appreciated :)

In my experience (many years) I've found that Apple typically doesn't charge your card until they have the item to send to you. So while it may still be in their system as processing, it's likely in transit or very close to being in transit somewhere between your door and China! 😄
