Ipad Pro purchased 6 months ago from Apple store not charging

Is the charging port covered under warranty and what do I need to get it fixed, I ordered online as a guest.

For over $1,300 should not be useless within 8 months.

See this about charging issues. If your iPad won't charge - Apple Support Otherwise use the Get Support link at the top of the page to contact Apple Support to schedule service. Or contact the Apple Store you made your purchase at and schedule a Genius Bar appointment.
