Failure to Reinstall Mac OS X
I have been given a 2009 Macbook Pro 13-inch. We erased the disk so I could start fresh. I have been unable to reinstall any Mac OS X using every method I could find. Internet Recovery will not initiate. Help!

Your Mac does not support macOS Recovery over the internet. You may need to create a bootable installer of OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. Here is an article that may help.
