No Auto Brightness option under Accessibilty>Display Text
There is no option to toggle on or off the Auto brightness setting and my iPhone goes back to 0 level brightness everytime I turned off the screen or lock it.

What version of iPhone? In the newer iOS, Auto Brightness is in Settings>Accessibility>Display & Text Size. Turn it on or off there.
I am using the current 14.7.1 and using iphone xs max 256gb model but there is no option there just vanished
