I am trying to factory reset a 2014 MacBook Air. I erases the hard disk and restarted to reinstall the OS X Yosemite but when I get to the stage to select a disk to install on there is no disk to select. I am worried I have done something wrong. Any ideas ?

Thanks I did erase the HD but now when I get to reinstall the OS i get past all the agree terms etc then when the OS asks to select a disk to load onto there is no selection to choose no icon of the Mac HD etc.

When to drive was Erased - what Re-Format was the drive given it ?? Just Easing and not reformatting to HFS Journaled with the GUID Partition Map, drive will be invisible when attempting to reinstall.
Run Repair disk also once it was erased.
Good idea is boot in Recovery Mode again and check and if it not yet formatted as suggested - do it now and then do the Disk Repair will still in there. Once that is done - attempt the Reinstallation again.
Got no idea to be honest.
