Screen gets dimmed if not being used

Question

Screen gets dimmed if not being used, any idea how to change the setting?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.5

Look in System Preferences >> Energy Saver and adjust as desired.

Just two little additions to what P. Phillips said:

a) the Energy Saver pane of System Preferences has been renamed as "Battery" in Big Sur.

b) you may also want to look at System Preferences->Displays->Display, and maybe uncheck "automatically adjust brightness".
