Apple wallet and Apple Pay?

I just got a new bank account. Received my cards in the mail and immediately added them to apple wallet. 2 days later, lost my card. Can I transfer card info from wallet to pay without the physical card?

Once added to the Wallet, the physical card is not needed to use Apple Pay.

However, if you cancelled the card as you should have done when losing it, you would not be able to use the card through Apple Pay anymore as it would have been cancelled.

You would need to wait for the replacement card to arrive and add that to the Wallet.

you can but it may cause issues

My Apple Pay will not work since I reported a card lost and had a new one reissued. I have to to delete card and re enter it. Apple support could not help me on the phone. They said this sometimes happens if the card was reported lost and the new card was automatically uploaded through the bank. It’s been almost two years now and I’m frustrated that no one can help me. I’m not getting any error messages.

I have loved using this feature in the past. Also the bank that issued the card can’t help me.
