iPhone SE (1st gen) won't load update 14.8

I have an iPhone SE (1st gen) and it won't load update 14.8. It gets as far as preparing update and then fails.

I’ll assume there’s enough free space and this iPhone is not marginal for storage. If it’s a 16 GB model, it’s tight.

Restart your iPhone, and try again.

Try deleting the update, and re-downloading it. (Settings > General > iPhone Storage, find and delete 14.8.)
