I just received an iCloud upgrade and can no longer print emails. When I double click on the email to open and print it, nothing happens. Bug fix?

I can imagine the many meetings at Apple where technology "specialists" discussed how to "improve" iCloud Mail with features most people don't need or want, but then decided to eliminate basic email features that have been around in email clients like Outlook for decades. Who would think of eliminating the ability to print an email? Crazy. In addition (after testing in numerous browsers), I can no long drag emails to folders, no longer double click to open an email (except drafts), and no longer drag open drafts to other parts of the screen to refer to other documents. Since this is not an individualized issue, the only value in contacting Apple support is to lobby them to put basic features back into iCloud and hope they listen.

I have this issue too. I am accessing iCloud via Google Chrome on a Windows PC. There is no print option. Support's suggestion is use a screen shot and then print from something such as Paint. This is not practical for anything other than a short email. I have clients that send me embedded expense receipts that are needed for tax purposes and I need to print the full email.

I am also experiencing these problems. I suspect this is not a "bug," but a permanent change. I am calling Apple Customer Support now (800-275-2273) and will post anything of relevance they tell me. She has me on hold right now, but she did say something to the effect that I might be able to have the features again if I downgrade from Big Sur Version 11.6 - but this is absurd!

So, the Apple rep just returned and said she would walk me through going into SAFE mode to see if happened there and if it did then she would have me uninstall Big Sur and then re-install. I don't want to take any more time with this problem today - on my day off when I work so long and hard during the week - if anyone else has the time to go through all this please post and share if it indeed fixes the problem or not. Thank you!
