Apple has reported that the jittery or “jelly” or wave-like scrolling is normal for ANY iPad model screen.

iPads and tablet screens have always had this issue to some extent and is more noticeable is some iPad models than others.

The new 2021 iPad Mini 6 models show this “jelly-like, wavy scrolling to more of an extent, but Apple is stating that this has ALWAYS been the case and is perfectly normal and expected behaviour, especially when an iPad is used in portrait screen orientation as the length of scrolling is much longer than it is a landscape screen orientation.

It takes the pixels toward the bottom of the screen more time to catch up with the pixels toward or near the top of the screen.

With normal scrolling use habits and NOT scrolling to the point of unreadability, this wavy scrolling issue should NOT be something that is noticed in everyday use.

This is NOT any software or hardware issue.

Apple states this is normal and expected behaviour and not any type of defect.

Best of Luck to You!
