2019 Mac book Pro Black Screen

My Macs screen is black with 3 vertical green lines of light going down. I can connect an HDMI to a TV and my computer functions as normal. Are there any quick fixes to try without having to send my mac off to apple?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.6

Sorry for the confusion, what i meant to say is when I plug the HDMI into the TV, my computer functions as normal, using the TV as a the screen. The laptop screen is still is black with the 3 green lines down it. So i guess my screen is just bad. Otherwise everything else appears to be working fine

Understood. Youir display assembly has a fault. The GPU is working as you witness by anr external monitor shows no issue.

Tale it in for repair—

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Your GPU is fine as you witness, however the display assembly most likely the projector cable is a hardware issue.
