Ipad reset

If I reset All content & settings in ipad doesvthat mean apps also e we ill be erased?

It is perhaps necessary to be very precise in both description of the selected option - and the consequences.


Reset All Content & Settings is not an available reset action.


However Erase All Content & Settings is a valid action within the reset settings menu - and will perform exactly as the description suggests. Everything, including all installed Apps will be erased/wiped from the device - as will all settings and User data.


Use this option with caution, as the only way to recover any data is from a pre-existing iCloud or iTunes backup of the device.
