Notifications ruin my map. I am constantly have to move them to see the top of the map. If I turn on focus, my maps do not open.

It sounds like you are receiving notifications while driving and you can't open maps while Focus is enabled. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? What exactly happens when you attempt to access Appel Maps while Focus is enabled? What is your exact iOS version? Also, which iPhone are you currently using?

Thanks, The Apple map will open, but not the Google Map. If I do a custom Focus, I can choose people and Apps the over ride the focus, but I can't do that with the driving Focus, that is what I have found, is that correct?

Does this happen when driving focus is automatically turned on or when it is manually turned on via Control Center?

I have iPhone 12 Pro. If I try to open any app (including Google Maps) while the driving focus is on, it says at the bottom that I am driving, and I can say I am not driving if I want to open something. I had the focus set to automatic, because I will not remember it otherwise. The driving focus needs an option to let designated apps function when it is on.

That option is available for other Focus modes. Reaching back out to Apple and continuing to work with them on this issue may be the best course.
