Go Here: If you can't Send or Receive eMails on your iPhone - Apple Support
You might want to try this methodf
Go to Settings,
tap [your name],
then select iCloud.
Choose the apps — such as Photos, Contacts, Calendars and third-party apps — you want to use with iCloud.
