AirTag family sharing.

I just set up a new air tag to my phone. However my husband cannot see it in our family sharing of the find my app. How do I enable the air tag to been seen by my family?

Dear Apple Support,

Any news on when this obviously expected feature will be implemented/unlocked? Or should i just return the tags i've just purchased? This ommission makes them pretty much useless for any family living use case (dog/children/luggage/car keys).

Hi HarleyBrick,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We see that you have a question about sharing access to the AirTag you set up with your family. You have reviewed the Use the Find My app to locate a missing device or item resource. We want to help.

Please look at this article that talks about How to reset your AirTag. From this resource you will see that "An AirTag can be associated with one Apple ID" You will not be able to share access with family members.

You can provide feedback here for features you would like to see: Product Feedback - Apple.

Best Regards!
