iPhone 12 mini battery life

Is it normal for the 12 mini battery performance to drop to 98% after barely 4 months of usage?

It's pretty normal for an new iPhone to drop percentage that quick (especially 99-98) in the first 4 months.

If you have the time to watch it, I would definitely keep checking it, while monitoring your usage. If It contiunes to go down after minimum use, I would just go to Apple Support and get a new Battery as that one can be defective.

If it's proven defective, you won't be charged.
