Bluetooth audio drops out

I’m experiencing audio dropout when using a Bluetooth device with my iPhone XR. Having just started enjoying Apple Music it proving to be an annoying ‘feature’.

what happens is this: when listening to music from my iPhone with Apple AirPods Pro, or if connecting my iPhone to my car via Bluetooth, I get regular audio drops of maybe .3 of a second.

So this is nothing to do with WiFi channels/bandwidth etc, as in these situations I can either be on WiFi (at home) or 4G (in the car) and I still get these dropouts.

Any ideas?

The iPhone is up to date by the way and I have unpaired and re-paired the AirPods

Hello,

Hmm, I don't know, but have a look at this:

Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference

Good luck.
