Safari help

Safari for mac is supposed to update automatically, but I've been having trouble using multiple websites because it's "out of date". But when I go into the app store, there is no new download. Can anyone help?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which MacBook Pro model you have, click on El Capitan, High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey. They're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list.
