apple music downloads to iphone in lossless. but shows up on mac as aac256. wont convert with import settings.

Hi,

You need macOS Catalina or later to get lossless Apple Music on your computer. You can't convert Apple Music 256 AAC because of DRM.

Transfer Music From Phone To iMac Music is not updating either over Wi-Fi or when plugged into usb. It seems one-sided like it’s updating the old music on my iMac to my phone, but not all purchases from my phone within the last 3-4 months. I’m not an Apple Music subscriber, but that never mattered until I got a 2020 machine seemingly. I’ve looked for and tried several videos, articles, etc, and nothing works. Any particular reason library updates have stopped working? What am I missing now? 2020 iMac, Big Sur iPhone 11 Pro Max, 16.5.1
