My phone daughters phone is being wierd

i recently gave my daughter her first phone and it’s been acting pretty odd.. .. like this week it says that it’s used 78 gigs of data .. in less than a week… it seems to be taking videos and pictures on its own . We o let know this cause of Al the random pictures in get photo app..now there was an unknown device connected to her iCloud .. I removed it and changed her password…does anyone know how I can check the phone for any malicious overlaid software?..

Try Setting Up Restrictions:

The iPhone won't be doing this on its own. So, be certain that Cellular is always disabled in Settings. If you are concerned then, set up Parental Controls. Go Here: Use Parental Controls on your Child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Setting this Up Anew:

If you wanted to, you could set it up anew, as if you were to sell it. All settings would be to default, and you would log in. From there, set this up as a child's phone. Go Here: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
