Delete Relocated Items folder

hi everyone what happens if I delete the "Relocated Items" folder on MBP M1(Mac OS Monterey)?

Relocated Items folder I just migrated from an older MacBook Air to the newer M1 with Big Sur. I ended up with a folder on my desktop called RelocatedItems.nosync. I read the Apple support document about the folder which suggested I "can move them to a new location, as long as it is different from their location before the...migration." I don't know what that statement means. I do I know where a different location might be if I don't know where they came from? Most of the files I looked at in the subfolders are already on my M1 like drivers for my printers (which work) and some other things. Can I just delete that folder?

What are relocated items after restoring the Mac? I had to restore my mini and a folder 'relocated items' appeared. What are these items in the folder and can they be deleted or do I need to do something else with them?

Deleting relocated items? I recently had to reset my computer and reload all files. There is a relocated items folder now on my desktop. Can I just delete this folder?

You free up space. 👍🏼

Recovery folders are there in the event of an unsuccessful update.
