WiFi on new Macbook keeps searching

I've bought the newest Macbook pro 14'' and since the beginning, the laptop seems to have had difficulties with connecting with WiFi. It either keeps searching without finding any WiFi or, when connected, does not show that it's connected to the WiFi.

At the same time, the laptop sometimes lags when doing some simple tasks. Things that shouldn't happen with a Macbook in this price range.

Do people experience the same difficulties with their new Macbook?

I've seen this numerous times on this very forum recently. It's not unheard of, but considering the number of units sold, it's pretty rare.

If you were to exchange your hardware for a different unit, odds are high that you will be right back here in short order with the same complaints. But NOT because anything is defective.

These issues do not occur in isolation, they occur based on YOUR setup in YOUR Network-neighborhood.

A friend of mine is facing the same issue with his new Macbook Pro 14''. When searching for WiFi the Macbook often does not find any available WiFi networks, whereas my iPhone finds like 10-15. The problem seems to be connected with the new Macbook pro, so I'm wondering whether other new users are facing the same issue.
