Why doesn’t Apple TV show me the shows I’ve paid for on my Apple TV app on Roku?

Why doesn’t Apple TV play episodes of their own shows on my roku Apple TV app?

If you have a valid AppleTV+ subscription then the AppleTV+ shows/series/movies should also play from the AppleTV app on your Roku device. There is one caveat. You must be signed on to the Apple TV app, on Roku, by using the same AppleID that has the valid AppleTV+ subscription.
