an automation in homekit is limited to only 4 hours! This is pathetic. Even the simplest accessory manufacturer has better options in their own app for switching on and off at a certain time.

Try creating two automations — one for on and another for off.
Thanks Picas. That works. We tried the other automation where the 4 hours is the limit and couldn’t get it to work the way we want.
Would still be friendlier if one had the option within one automation to set a light to go on and off on a certain time. Or a even multiple times during the day on/off instead of having a whole string of automations in the list.
