6 x 4k Displays using a 2021 Mac Pro with 6800x?

I'm intending to install 6 x 4k monitors to a Mac Pro with a 6800x MPX Module.

Procedure is outlined here:

However, I'm wondering about wiring and what inputs on the monitors I might need.

Do I need Thunderbolt 3 ports on the monitors? I'd prefer not since monitors with Thunderbolt 3 ports seem to be twice as much as those with DisplayPort.

Can I use 6 Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort Adapters?

If so, can anybody recommend one that would work?

Recommendations for Adapters or Compatible 4k monitors, or anybody else have a working setup for this they can recommend?

Finally, I will probably want to dual boot this with Bootcamp, so any additional considerations for using 3 of those monitors from the Windows 10 side? Tomshardware suggests EyeFinity would require using the DisplayPort inputs.

no, you just need one USB-C connector on DisplayPort adapter/cables, PROVIDED you are willing to attach one cable per display (NOT daisy-chained).

Some readers reported they were forced to include one of the TOP Thunderbolt ports on the chassis in certain heavily-loaded situations.

The thought was that you needed every Thunderbolt controller to help, and connecting a display to a Top port put it on a different Thunderbolt controller, lightening the load on the Rear Thunderbolt controller (which services both the rear ports.)
