Erase the data

I lost my Iphone and have the data on my Icloud account. I want to erase the data on Iphone that I lost , will I lost the data in my Icloud as well ?

If you erase a device as described in step 5 of If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple Support that does not remove any data that is on iCloud; it only erases the device.
